Ezda is the story of Besime, a young Yazidi mother and survivor of ISIS’s genocide against the Yazidi community. In her own words, she recounts her experiences of being in captivity for nearly 3 years among ISIS members, and the challenges she faces after fleeing with her children, and adjusting to her new life in Canada.
