Sarah Salhi

Sara is a graphic designer by education and loves creating art in various forms. She moved to Vancouver 5 years ago and recognized a new founded appreciation for Arabic music and culture. In the process of bringing together arabic musicians to play together, Sara noticed a lot of people missing a sense of community here. So she founded ArabsVan in 2019. A group celebrating the beauty of Arabic culture and cultivating a community to bring a part of home closer. Through this group, Sara and her co-organizer Soundous curate music events, dance classes, fundraisers and much more.
