I Am Not Racist, I Have a Black Friend

Synopsis:

Young people of colour who grew up in predominantly white social circles reveal what it is like to embody the mythical figure of the «black friend». Their portraits intertwine and echo, as they explore themes such as beauty standards and dating. This piece is an initiative of healing by the power of speech, of demystification for this nebulous figure of the black friend, and mythification as we edify these participants as new idols larger than life.
