Negin Khazaee

Negin is an award winning cinematographer and filmmaker who is interested in social and political aspects of filmmaking. After Graduation from faculty of Cinema of Tehran University of Art in 2012, due to gender segregation and lack of real opportunities for women in movie industry in Iran she continued her MA studies at at La femis film School in Paris. Since graduation on 2017, she has worked as director of photography and camera operator on a number of award winning films such as "Gabber Lover 2016" winner of “Queer Palm” in Cannes Festival. Negin actively contributes to the Independent film industry as a POC queer woman and seeks equal representation for her community.
