Azadeh Navai

Azadeh Navai is an Iranian independent filmmaker and editor. Her films Friday

Mosque, Remembering the Pentagons, The Yellow Curtain and Gladiolus have

screened throughout the world, to include New York Film Festival, International Film

Festival Rotterdam, Edinburgh International Film Festival, SLAMDANCE, St. Kilda Film

Festival, Atlanta film Festival, CROSSROADS and FILMADRID. Azadeh holds an MFA

in Film & Video from CalArts and is a grant recipient from arthouse streaming platform,

Fandor. She is currently editing her short film, Rizoo, as well as planning production for

her upcoming film, Shepish. Azadeh lives in Los Angeles.
