Karar is a film industry worker and first-time director from Samawah, a small rural town in southern Iraq.He studied cinema at the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Baghdad. He is interested in contemplative realist cinema characterized by minimalism.His background as a sound recordist on several films and TV series, including Immortals (2024) and Prime Target (2025), has refined his directorial vision and deepened his understanding of the filmmaking process.
