Fariba Farjam

Born and raised in Iran, Fariba Farjam is a Vancouver-based filmmaker. Her directorial debut, Redacted Dreams, has received international recognition for its intimate portrayal of a censored Iranian writer navigating isolation and hope in exile. Fariba also co-produced the award-winning documentary Karun and is currently co-directing and co-producing two other projects. She believes in authenticity in storytelling not only to engage but to spark meaningful dialogue and inspire change.
